AN UP AND DOWN WEEKEND FOR WILD BLACK

We had a really good game on Saturday against Cranbrook Dodge. We came out on top 9 to 4 because of a good performance by the kids. A 5 goal performance by Tayor really helped to put us over the top, along with 5 assists by Bradley. Matt had a 3 point game, Adam had a 3 point game and Nate, Evan and Amrit had a 2 point game. Nolan, Cori Anne, Cody and Madalon all had a 1 point game. This shows that we were getting contribution from all players on the ice.
On Sunday not so much. They worked really hard controlling most of the first period against Cranbrook Invis. Our first and only goal was a result of a nice passing play from Ty to Adam. Then consistent defensive breakdowns resulted in Cranbrook scoring not long after. Forgetting to play as a team inevitably led to Cranbrook scoring 5 unanswered goals. Saturdays game shows that consistent team effort wins games.
The positives from the weekend would be that we know what we need to do to win games.
